Prescriptions
Please follow the guidelines and choose the right option for you.
Ordering a repeat prescription
- Please allow us 72 hours (three working days), to process your prescription request.
- A longer time will be required on Bank Holidays, especially around Easter and Christmas.
- Some pharmacies and your dispensary may need additional time to process your request.
- We allow requests to be put in up to a week in advance of the 28 day medication cycle.
- We do not accept repeat prescription requests over the phone.
When you order a prescription online, you can have it sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. This is called a nomination.
Order online
The best way to order your medication is to request it online using one of the following methods:
Our dispensary
Patients who live more than a mile from a pharmacy can obtain their prescriptions from our dispensary. Any patient who lives within a mile of a Pharmacy cannot have their medication dispensed by us and will need to attend another Pharmacy.
Details of local Pharmacies are available both from the Dispensary and Reception.
Eco Carriers - Prescription deliveries
Save yourself a trip to the Dispensary and get your prescription delivered by EcoCarriers.

Pharmacy ordering / Collection service
Pharmacies offer a prescription collection service from our Practice
Your pharmacy can also order your medication on your behalf. This saves you time and unnecessary visits to the Practice. Please contact the Pharmacy of your choice for more information if you wish to use this service.
